[3]1:3
[4]1:4

2.A person has to cover a distance of 6 km in 45 minutes. if he cover half of the distance in two-third of the total time; to cover the remaining distance in the remaining time ,his speed must be
[1]6 km/h
[2]8km/h

[2]16.15
[3]10 .
[4]None of these

Answer
1.[1]Let speed of first train = x km/h
        Let speed of second train = y km/h
According to question
120 + 600-129  =  8   .............................(1)
  x           y
200 600-200  = 25  ............................(2)
 x             y               3

solving (1) and (2) we get
x = 60,  y = 80
Required ratio = 60: 80 = 3 :4

2.[3]Remaining distance = 3 km
Remaining time =1 * 45 = 15 min = 0.025 h
                           3
 Required speed =     = 12 km/h
                           0.025
3.[2]: The area of a square is represented by the formula, A=s2.
 Substituting 16 for A gives: 16=s2.
Solving for s shows each side length to be 4 feet.
 Thus, the perimeter is equal to the product of 4 and 4 ft, or 16 ft.

4.[4]
Let his add money = Rs x
According to questipn
(4800 + x ) *12 * 3  - 4800 * 9* 3 = 720
   100                               100
=> 48*36 + x * 36 -  48 *27 = 270
                        100
=>x = 288*100 = Rs 800/-
                    36
5.[1]Total investment = Rs. (7200+200+ 600) Rs. 8000.
Total receipt Rs. (330 x 28) = Rs. 9240.
profit % = [1240/8000] * 100 = 15.5
