Quantitative Aptitude for SBIPO paper 1

1.If the ages of P and R are added to twice the age of Q, the  total becomes 59. if the ages of Qand R are added to thrice the ages of  P, the total becomes 68. And if the age of P is added to the thrice the age of Q and the thrice the age of R, the total becomes 108.what is the age of P?

P+R+2Q = 59;
Q+R+3P= 68  AND
P+3(Q+R) = 108
solving equation , We get p= 12 yrs.

 in 1 ltr mixture unleaded petrol.= 100 ml    ...5%
                          leaded petrol. = 900 ml   ....95%
=>100/5*95=1900
so,quantity of leaded petrol should be added = 1900-900=1000ml

Let original length = 100 and original breadth = 60
Then original area = 100 × 60 = 6000
New length
New  length = 80 and breadth = 54
New area = 80*54=4320
Decrease in area = Original Area - New Area = 6000 - 4320 = 1680
Percentage of decrease in area = Decrease in Area/Original Area×100
=1680/6000×100=28%
