Answer1. [1]  B's age = 4x + 12 years
                A' s age = 3x + 12 years

                 At present C' present age is 16 years
                  present age of B is 3 3    times of c' present age
                                                  4
                           => 4x + 12 = 15  X 16 = 48
                                                  4
             =>4x = 60 -- 12 = 48
              => x = 48/4 = 12
     A' s age = 3x + 12 years
                  = 3 x 12 + 12  = 48 years

  2. [4] Let the cost of each capsules be Rs.x
         216      -      216    = 15
       x-10               x
=>216  {x-x+10}  = 15
             x(x-10)

=>216 X 10 = 15x (x - 10)

=>x(x-10) = 216 X 10 = 144
                     15

=>x (x-10) = 18 (18-10)
=>x = Rs 18
 Number of capsules bought = 216 = 12
                                              18
 3.[5]Ratio of share = 12800; 16800: 9600 = 16:1 : 12
    If the   total profit  be  Rs.x
B's share =           21x            =    21x  =      3x
                         16 + 21 + 12       49            7
          3x    = 13125
          7
=> x = 13125 X 7  = Rs .30625
                 3
=> C's share = 12  X 30625
                       49
= Rs. 7500

4.[2] = 687.75   =  196.5
            3.5
5.[2]  =>1458.45 - ? -=  1294.25
      = 1458.45 -1294.25  = 164.2
